Jennifer Moore, CEO
Since 2009 when she led the launch of Jem, Jen has played and continues to play a wide variety of roles including sales, marketing, quality control and product development. While currently overseeing the implementation of strategic planning, she is also responsible for setting and maintaining the company’s vision and long-term goals. Jen has a B.S. in Nutrition-Food Science and Exercise Physiology - complementary and life-long passions that inform nearly every aspect of her personal and professional life. in addition to trail running, Jen enjoys nature hikes with her husband Tim and dog Lily. She takes great pleasure in long Facetime talks with her 3 adult children, as well as dinner parties with friends where she loves to laugh to tears.
Nik Rueth, COO
From day one, Nik’s responsibilities have included overseeing the building of the manufacturing infrastructure, developing recipes and formulating Jem’s signature products. Currently he oversees the Jem factory and its employees as well as sourcing raw materials and ensuring regulatory compliance standards. In his free time, and in addition to being a dedicated practitioner of yoga, Nik enjoys rock climbs, hikes and trail runs.
Timothy Moore, Vice President of Sales
Tim’s entrepreneurial spirit and at-home experiments with raw chocolates were integral to the co-creation of Jem. In addition to overseeing the sales team, Tim manages distributors, negotiates contracts and develops sales forecasts and strategies. With a graduate degree in Psychology, Tim has devoted more than 20 years assessing people’s needs in the mental health field. His passion for and dedication to the well-being of others is evident in the establishment of a company that is committed to holistically meeting the needs of its customers, partners, distributors and supporters. A musician and trail runner, Tim relishes the life he lives in Bend, Oregon with his wife Jen, and their extended family and friends.
