Summer Flatbreads

These flatbreads may be one of your favorite recipes ever! They are so easy to make, the perfect balance of sweet and salty and great for a backyard dinner in the summer time. We made one for the veggie lover and one for the meat lover. Or combine for the best of both worlds for one ultimate flatbread.

Summer Flatbread Recipes

Veggie Ingredients

  • Pre-made flatbread (you can make your own, but most grocery stores have premade doughs that are delicious)
  • Olive oil
  • Half a sweet onion, thinly sliced
  • Garlic and Herb Goat cheese
  • Pear, sliced
  • Arugula
  • 4 large garlic cloves, pressed
  • JEM Organics Pistachio Ginseng Cashew Butter

Veggie Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees
  2. In a medium sized pan, add some oil and onions. Stir to coat them in the oil and let them cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, then sprinkle some salt. Continue cooking for 20 minutes, still stirring occasionally.
  3. Evenly drizzle olive oil over flatbread and spread some garlic on top
  4. Place your sliced pears evenly around, add dollops of the goat cheese and onions evenly throughout
  5. Bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes until crispy and golden brown
  6. Remove from the oven, add a handful of arugula and drizzle with JEM
  7. Add some fresh cracked pepper, slice and enjoy!

  • Pepperoni
  • Arugula
  • 4 large garlic cloves, pressed
  • JEM Maple Pecan Almond Butter

Meat Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees
  2. In a medium sized pan, add some oil and onions. Stir to coat them in the oil and let them cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, then sprinkle some salt. Continue cooking for 20 minutes, still stirring occasionally.
  3. Evenly drizzle olive oil over flatbread and spread some garlic on top
  4. Evenly place onions throughout, add dollops of goat cheese, place pepperoni and rip and scatter prosciutto
  5. Bake in the over for 10-15 min or until golden and crispy
  6. Remove and a handful of arugula. Drizzle with the Maple Pecan
  7. Slice and enjoy!
