Maple Pecan Hazelnut Banana Muffins

Over here at JEM, banana bread is one of our favorite pastries. So we am going to come right out and say that these are, in fact, the BEST banana muffins we have had– and trust us, we've have had a lot of banana muffins.

Maple Pecan Hazelnut Banana Muffins Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 large, or 3 medium ripe bananas
  • 2 eggs
  • ¼ cup coconut oil
  • ½ cup shredded unsweetened coconut
  • ¼ cup Maple Syrup
  • ¾ cup JEM Maple Pecan Hazelnut Butter
  • 2 cups All purpose flour ( you can also make them with oats if you prefer)
  • ⅔ cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1 ½ tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Directions

  1. Preheat of to 350 degrees
  2. Insert muffin cups into muffin tin, or coat tin with coconut oil
  3. Use hand mixer to mash bananas and add eggs, coconut oil, maple syrup, JEM Maple Pecan Hazelnut Butter until well combined
  4. Mix all dry ingredients together in a separate bowl, except the coconut and chocolate chips
  5. Combine wet and dry ingredients with hand mixer
  6. Once combined use a spatula to fold in chocolate chips and coconut
  7. Bake for 20-30 minutes or until golden brown
  8. Add a little JEM drizzle on top
