Homemade Granola

Pack a healthy and filling snack for you and your family. These two recipes for granola are a wonderful snack for outdoor activities, such as hiking, biking, fishing or a lazy day by the beach. They are also a great snack to bring to school or work. It's quick, it's easy and it includes delicious JEM Organics nut butter, which makes each bite that much more delicious. Give these granola recipes a try!

Cashew Cardamom & Naked Almond Butter Granola

Ingredients

Cashew Cardamom

  • 1 cup Gluten Free Oats
  • ¼ Buckwheat Groats
  • ½ cup coconut flakes
  • ¼ cup dried blueberries
  • 2 Tbs coconut oil
  • 2 heaping Tbs of JEM Organics Cashew Cardamom Nut Butter
  • Dash of apple cider vinegar

Naked Almond

  • 1 cup Gluten Free Oats
  • ¼ Buckwheat Groats
  • ¼ cup dried apricots
  • ¼ cup dried cranberries
  • 2 Tbs coconut oil
  • 2 heaping Tbs of JEM Organics Naked Almond Butter
  • Dash of apple cider vinegar

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix all dry ingredients together
  3. Then add the coconut oil, nut butter and vinegar and mix thoroughly
  4. Pour the granola onto the baking sheet and use a spoon to spread it evenly
  5. Bake until golden brown, about 15 - 20 min
  6. Let the granola cool for at least 30 min & enjoy!

Note: Stir after 5 minutes in the oven to encourage even toasting
