Christmas Arrival & Recall Update
Dear devoted Jem followers,
Thank you for all your positive support these last two weeks. Over the years, you have told us just how much you appreciate JEM for producing such a wonderful, healthy, and delicious product. You’ve thanked us over and over again for our efforts to go above and beyond what is standard in the food manufacturing industry. Public health and food safety have always been our top priority as we completely handcraft our JEM’s one small batch at a time.
We are happy to announce: after a ten-day inspection by the FDA and other regulatory agencies, all JEM Raw products and facilities have come back 100% negative for Salmonella––the factory is back up and running––thankfully, in time for Christmas.
While it’s unfortunate the recall took place, we strongly feel that issuing the recall was the right thing to do.
We have been working directly with each consumer to manage replacement of product. If you have questions, please visit our Facebook page (we are currently averaging a two-hour response time) or call customer service directly at (541) 728-3844. If you would like to place a new order, please do so on our website, at the JEM Raw Shop. With the Factory back in production this week, orders will begin to be mailed out early next week. We cannot guarantee arrival by Christmas, but most likely all orders will be shipped before the Christmas holiday.
